Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and skilled swimming instructor to join our team of dedicated educators.

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for teaching swimming and inspiring students to develop their skills and self-confidence for a lifelong affinity with the water.

This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse range of students, from beginners to advanced swimmers, and to be part of a supportive and collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess participants to ensure allocation into appropriate lessons and levels.
  • Establish strong bonds with swimmers and their families.
  • Foster opportunities for students to grow and develop their skills.
Requirements:
  • ASCTA Swimming and Water Safety Teacher accreditation, and/or AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety.
  • Sports Australia Community Coaching General Principles Course (or willingness to obtain).
  • Valid Victorian Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC) or VIT registration.
  • Current First Aid HLTAID011 (003) & CPR HLTAID009 (001) qualifications (or willingness to obtain).
