Job Description

Deliver high-quality managed funds research and analysis to support financial advisers in the investment industry.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive analysis across various asset classes, including equities, fixed income, cash, and alternatives.
  • Facilitating the coverage initiation of new funds and maintaining ongoing coverage of products.
  • Developing technical knowledge of products across asset classes and investment processes.
  • Assisting in report writing and meeting preparation, involving the synthesis of written information and evaluation of product merits.
Required Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a research house, financial advisory firm, fund manager, or similar, with a strong focus on financial analysis and market knowledge.
  • Strong qualitative research skills, with the ability to distil financial information efficiently and convey it clearly and concisely.
  • A demonstrable interest in finance and investment.
  • Proficient quantitative skills for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.
  • Demonstrable understanding of investments, equities, and ETFs, or a keen interest to acquire such knowledge.
  • Communication skills that allow for asking probing questions with confidence and clarity.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a close-knit team, while also taking ownership of individual objectives.
  • A positive attitude and a passion for learning.
  • Current permanent and full-time working rights in Australia (e.g., Citizen or Permanent Resident).
