Financial Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as a Financial Specialist.

This role will play a key part in supporting clients and their families while developing expertise in financial management within the care sector.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Processing invoices and payments in accordance with established processes.
  • Providing recommendations to management on suppliers, payments, and cash flow forecasting.
  • Monitoring and escalating SLAs, KPIs, and risks to ensure business objectives are met.
  • Communicating effectively with stakeholders to maintain trust and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Assisting in data analysis between financial systems and ERP software.
  • Ensuring adherence to month-end deadlines, including review of financial reconciliations.
  • Performing AP statement reconciliation and resolving issues with suppliers.
  • Supporting Vendor Maintenance team with vendor setup clarification and confirmation.
  • Undertaking ad-hoc duties as directed by Team Manager.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Certificate in Finance or Accounting (desired)
  • Proven experience in customer service, dealing with suppliers, and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (formatting, pivot tables, analysis, and formulae).
  • RedMap experience is desirable.
  • Numerical and data entry skills are essential.
  • High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • The right to work in Australia.
  • National Police Clearance or willingness to obtain (the myHomecare Group will organise via WorkPro at no cost).
  • Proof of Covid Vaccination.
