Vestas, the global leader in wind energy solutions, is seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team in Western Australia. As a Service Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our wind turbines and providing exceptional service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out periodic service inspections and maintenance tasks on wind turbines, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic components.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with wind turbine systems, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- Maintain a well-stocked warehouse and service vehicle, ordering materials and tools as needed.
- Assemble and service components according to current standards and work instructions.
- Work safely and efficiently, adhering to Vestas' safety and environmental standards.
- Electrical trade qualification and experience in the renewable energy sector.
- Good computer skills and experience with handling different tools and systems.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to other sites when required.
