Aviation Security Officer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to fill the role of Aviation Protection Officer at Newcastle Airport on a part-time basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Screen passengers in a fast-paced airport environment while adhering to strict security protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant aviation security and safety procedures, including regulatory requirements.

Requirements
  • Able to obtain or be endorsed for the Aviation Transport Security Protection Qualification (TSP).
  • Pass rigorous drug and alcohol screening and medical assessments to ensure physical and mental fitness.
  • Obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) to access restricted areas.
  • Flexible rostered shifts and availability to work across various periods.
  • Excellent physical and mental abilities to perform emergency response procedures effectively.
