Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Hydraulic Technician to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with their hands, problem-solving, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to external service requests and breakdowns.
  • Install and commission large hydraulic projects.
  • Study system requirements and develop proactive responses to faults, maintenance or modernisation topics.
  • Conduct fault-finding diagnosis and product analysis reporting.
  • Test hydraulic systems and identify further repairs.
  • Order and gather components, perform tests, and identify spare parts opportunities.
  • Maintain customer confidentiality.
  • Prepare service quotations and follow up with customers.
  • Upload relevant documentation, including vendor quotations, delivery dockets, service quotations, and service reports.
  • Ensure quality control through documentation of tests and installations.
  • Conduct on-site inspections, repairs, installations, and testing on hydraulic components and associated equipment.
Qualifications:
  • Australian Permanent Resident or Citizen.
  • Hydraulic fitter trade or equivalent.
  • Five years of field service or hydraulic system experience.
  • Competent level of hydraulic knowledge.
  • High focus on Quality and attention to detail.
  • Dynamic performer and achiever.
  • Planning and organisational skills.
