About the Role:

This role is based at our purpose-built facility. You will be responsible for leading and guiding technicians to meet team objectives.

About You:

  • You are a qualified mechanical tradesperson with hands-on experience in hydraulic and mechanical systems, particularly in high-integrity environments.
  • You take pride in your ability to diagnose, repair and refurbish complex equipment and are skilled in troubleshooting and diagnosing faults in complex systems.
  • You bring strong leadership skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to mentor others while delivering technical excellence.
  • You're confident interpreting detailed drawings, managing workshop operations, and using systems to meet daily objectives.
  • You have a proactive mindset and a focus on continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Mechanical trade certification or equivalent experience
  • Training and / or certification in hydraulics
  • Previous experience leading teams
  • A valid driver's licence
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance as defined by AGSVA guidelines
