
Claims Processor Representative

Job Title
We are seeking an experienced Claims Service Officer to join our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing administrative tasks in support of Case Managers, developing improved procedures, and interacting with clients to ensure seamless claims processing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform claims administrative tasks in support of the Case Managers
- Participate in the development of improved procedures for the administration of claims
- Receive initial notification of claims and implement action, check policy status, record on system, and send claim forms
- Acknowledge receipt, make up claim file, attach underwriting documentation, and attach applicable policy wording
- Arrange periodical benefit payments and payment of service provider accounts
- Process claim payments following instruction from the Case Manager
- Coordinate Surveillance, Rehabilitation, and Independent Medical Examination referrals
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the Financial Services/Insurance Industry
- Exceptional customer service skills to deliver agreed service standards
- Demonstrated ability to work both in a team and autonomously
- Excellent analytical skills and methodologies, high attention to detail
- Good relationship management and negotiation skills
- Accurate data input and sound knowledge of MS Office suite
