At EdenCare Support Services, we have a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with non-verbal autism. As a highly skilled and compassionate caregiver, you will be responsible for providing specialized support services that cater to the specific needs of our clients.

We are seeking an individual who is passionate about assisting individuals with disabilities and has experience working with non-verbal autism clients. You will work closely with our team to develop personalized care plans that focus on building routines, improving life skills, and promoting community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality support services to clients with non-verbal autism
  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as toileting, meal feeding, and personal care
  • Facilitate communication between family members and service providers
  • Support clients in accessing community resources and engaging in capacity-building activities
  • Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans

Requirements:

  • Qualification in Individual Support or Disability Support
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Employee Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificates (or willingness to obtain)
  • National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Driver's license and reliable vehicle (required)
  • Eligibility to work in Australia
