Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in Bundaberg Hospital

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Obstetrician and Gynaecologist to join our dedicated team at Bundaberg Hospital, a teaching hospital affiliated with the University of Queensland Rural Clinical School.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, patient-centred care to women and families in consultation with consultants, visiting specialists, nurses and allied health professionals.
  • Participate in antenatal, intrapartum, postnatal and gynaecological care, ensuring safe and effective outcomes for all patients.
  • Support medical student education and contribute to the University of Queensland's clinical teaching program, promoting quality improvement initiatives and upgrading medical education.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement strategies that enhance the delivery of obstetric and gynaecological services in our regional teaching hospital environment.

About You
  • MBBS or equivalent, eligible for registration with AHPRA.
  • Completion of at least two years of postgraduate training (PHO level) and demonstrated commitment to women's health, teamwork, and patient-centred care.
