Job Description

The position of Obstetrician and Gynaecologist requires a skilled professional to provide safe, effective, and equitable care to women and families.

Key responsibilities include participating in antenatal, intrapartum, postnatal and gynaecological care, supporting medical student education, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality patient care in consultation with specialists and allied health professionals.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to clinical teaching and research programs.
  • Mentor and support junior staff and students through guidance and supervision.
  • Stay current with best practices in Obstetrics and Gynaecology through continuous professional development.

This is an excellent opportunity for an O&G specialist to gain diverse experience in a regional teaching hospital environment.

Requirements:
  • A medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and eligibility for registration with the relevant authority.
  • Completion of at least two years of postgraduate training (PHO level).
  • Demonstrated commitment to women's health, teamwork, and patient-centred care.
  • An interest in teaching and developing clinical skills in a supportive setting.
