The Cyber Security Threat Professional will play a pivotal role in identifying and mitigating cyber threats across the agency's network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively hunt for threats using advanced threat detection tools and techniques.
  • Utilise cutting-edge threat intelligence to support threat hunting activities and drive strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain sophisticated threat detection tools, including custom use cases and dashboards.
  • Analyse security events and logs to identify anomalous activity and inform incident response strategies.
  • Recommend proactive security enhancements and collaborate with stakeholders to develop effective countermeasures.

Minimum 3 years' experience as a Cyber Security Incident Responder or Threat Hunter is required. Strong proficiency in log analysis and threat detection using SIEM platforms is essential.

A collaborative team player with strong knowledge-sharing skills and excellent written communication and documentation skills are highly desirable.

Technical tertiary qualifications and certifications such as Microsoft, Splunk, CISSP, GCIH, GCIA are preferred.
