About the Role:

This specialist electrical and controls engineering company is seeking an experienced Electrical/EEHA Engineer to join their team, providing design and support services to global clients.

As an Electrical Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work across various industries, including mining, industrial, and renewables.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing electrical and instrumentation designs in accordance with specifications and Australian Standards
  • Creating LV and HV designs, MCCs, and switchrooms that meet industry requirements
  • Arc flash calculations and hazardous area design and classification
  • Conducting design reviews and sign-offs
  • Coordinating the configuration and design of Electrical and Control Systems
  • Producing accurate technical documents, specifications, and engineering materials
  • Taking ownership of electrical design projects
  • Collaborating closely with a team of designers and engineers

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
  • Strong understanding of Australian and industry codes and standards
  • Understanding of principles of safety in design and hierarchy of controls
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Eligibility to work in Australia
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Estimated Salary:$120,000 - $150,000 per annum based on location and experience.
