SalaryThe salary for this role starts from $171,495 per year, plus 14.75% superannuation, based on a 10-day fortnight.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team in Brisbane. As an Electrical Estimator, you will play a key role in delivering professional estimating services to our Energy and Infrastructure portfolios.
You will apply your knowledge and experience to deliver detailed project cost estimates for electrical projects, including transmission and distribution lines, commercial and industrial work. You will also support senior estimators on 'tier 1' renewables projects such as solar farms, wind farms, and battery projects.
This is a 24-month fixed-term position, and you will be based at our Newstead office. However, we welcome applications from any major regional QLD centre.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree qualification in Engineering, Business, or Management, or an equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
- Technical electrical estimating expertise, with demonstrated knowledge of estimating techniques and practices.
- Experience in design, construction, maintenance, and operation of complex electrical infrastructure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain working relationships and negotiate and influence decisions relating to costs.
