At McKenzie, we deliver high-quality aged care services to support older Australians in living positively.

We are seeking skilled Personal Care Workers to join our teams based in Townsville.

The role involves providing safe and timely contemporary personal care, assisting residents with daily living tasks according to their individual needs.

  • To support residents as they age and maintain their independence, dignity, and self-determination.
  • Assist residents with self-care needs, safe mobility, and transfers, and complete accurate documentation.

Key requirements include:

  • 12 months' prior work experience.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Certificate III or Certificate IV in Aged Care or Individual Support.
  • Experience in a care role highly regarded.

This is a full-time position (38 hours per week)

The guaranteed minimum earnings will be no less than $68,864 per annum plus superannuation. This may include a combination of shifts including mornings, afternoons, nights, and weekends.
