Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) - Full-Time
The Good Shepherd Home has been a leading provider of quality residential aged care services in Townsville for over 50 years. This role is ideal for someone passionate and dedicated to providing exceptional care and fostering an enriching lifestyle for our residents. You will work in a cohesive team environment with opportunities for ongoing training and professional development.
Your role
Under the supervision of a Registered or Enrolled Nurse, PCAs deliver high-quality, direct resident care that supports their dignity and addresses their social, physical, cultural, and emotional needs.
Certificate III in Individual Support or a relevant aged care qualification (essential);
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to contribute positively to the team and provide exceptional service to residents;
Ability to manage daily duties efficiently while delivering excellent customer service;
Knowledge and ability to care for the social, spiritual, and cultural needs of residents.
Employees of TGSH must qualify to work in Australia. Successful applicants will be required to undergo an NDIS worker screening and provide vaccination status.
