We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Construction Specialist to join our Project Delivery Group in Perth.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in electrical construction and experience working on large-scale projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and guidance on electrical construction-related matters, contributing to the development of construction strategies and execution schedules, and ensuring that all construction work is carried out safely and efficiently.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical construction principles, practices, and regulations, as well as excellent communication and teamwork skills. If you are a motivated and organized individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality results, we encourage you to apply for this role.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Contributes to the constructability process, development and review of construction related documentation, manuals, plans, policies and procedures;
- Provide construction technical support to other project functions as needed.
- Ensure Construction Work Package (CWP) program is integrated into the execution planning and are defined to a sufficient level for the project phase.
- Maintain a high level of customer service with Client representatives.
- Contribute to the development of construction requirements for pre-assembly and/or modularisation.
- Contribute to the development of site organization and staffing requirements and Plant and Equipment profiles, required to execute construction activities within project schedule and acceptable costs.
- Contribute to ongoing maintenance of capital estimates, schedule and design as they pertain to construction.
- Be willing to travel to and work on site where necessary.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated health and safety management focus in the all phases of project delivery, and extensive knowledge of health and safety management procedures, safe work practices, and applicable legislation.
- General knowledge of construction, engineering, procurement, contracts, scheduling and
- Tertiary Qualifications in Engineering or Construction, with 7+ years construction management experience in heavy or industrial construction.
- The ability to motivate and lead a discipline focused teams and fit into a team environment.
- Effective communication, report writing skills, planning, organizational and oral skills
- Able to communicate directly with the client on key issues.
- Knowledge of the EPCM model of project delivery including the activities, interfaces and interdependencies of all project disciplines (engineering, procurement, construction management, and other project related disciplines)
