Centre Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Centre Manager to lead our Child and Family Centre in Kalkarindji, NT. As the heart and soul of the Centre, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, developing and managing culturally safe programs and services, and building relationships with local service providers and community organisations.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and mentor a team of Key Workers and administrative staff
- Develop and manage culturally safe programs and services, including parenting support, cooking programs, and advocacy for young families
- Build relationships with local service providers and community organisations to ensure families receive timely access to mental health, housing, and other essential services
- Oversee the Centre's day-to-day operations, including WHS and accreditation processes
- Manage budgets, reporting requirements, and internal communication
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and team development
- Ensure accurate data management and reporting systems are in place
We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture, along with at least one year of experience working closely with communities. Ideally, you have lived and worked in a community setting and are deeply committed to helping families access essential services while preserving and promoting cultural traditions.
Strong organisational skills and good interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role. We are committed to supporting you in developing your leadership capabilities as you grow within the position. Practical experience in similar roles, especially in community settings, is highly valued.
