Job Title: Imaging Nurse Specialist

We are seeking an experienced nurse to join our team in a diagnostic imaging role. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic environment, utilizing your clinical skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional patient care.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing patients for various imaging procedures, including CT, MRI, and ultrasound examinations. You will also assist with interventional procedures such as biopsies, drainages, and angiography. Your key responsibilities will include delivering high-quality nursing care, maintaining accurate documentation, and collaborating closely with radiologists and imaging technicians.

To be successful in this role, you will require current registration as a registered nurse, qualification in IV cannulation, and advanced life support certification. Previous experience in surgical or radiology nursing would be advantageous. Strong communication and time management skills are essential, as well as the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional nursing care to patients before, during, and after imaging procedures
  • Prepare patients for CT, MRI, and Ultrasound examinations (including IV cannulation)
  • Assist in interventional procedures such as biopsies, drainages, and angiography
  • Maintain accurate documentation and handle specimen collection
  • Collaborate closely with Radiologists and Imaging Technicians

Requirements:
  • Current APHRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Qualification in IV Cannulation
  • Advanced Life Support certification
