Australia Aged Care Resumes Full time

Thrive Support Services (J & S Cummins Pty Ltd), is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Aged and Disability Support Worker to join our team on a casual basis in Echuca and surrounding areas. In this vital role, you'll help improve the daily lives of our participants by supporting their independence, goals, and wellbeing through everyday tasks and meaningful engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Provide personal care, including showering, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Assist with household tasks like cooking, cleaning, and laundry
Support community participation such as attending appointments, shopping, or social outings
Encourage independence, dignity, and active living
Observe, document, and report on client progress and wellbeing
Assist clients in group activities and social interaction
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
Passionate about supporting people with disabilities and older individuals
Reliable, empathetic, and an excellent communicator
Confident working independently and as part of a close-knit team
Eager to learn and grow in the care sector
Requirements
A current Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
A valid driver's licence
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
Empathy, patience, and a strong commitment to client wellbeing
A genuine desire to make a positive impact
A Certificate III/IV in Aged Care, Disability, or Community Services is welcome but not essential
