Director of Junior Learning

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Junior Learning to join our team at Marist Sion College. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient leadership, organisation and management of student engagement and learning, as well as the overall curriculum for Years 7 – 9.
The successful applicant will be a registered teacher with the Victorian Institute of Teaching and will have a proven track record of leading and managing teams, developing and implementing curriculum programs, and improving student learning outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Curriculum Implementation Team and oversee the work of the Learning Leaders to provide high quality programs and resource services.
- Develop and implement curriculum programs that meet the needs of students and align with the College's strategic priorities.
- Monitor and evaluate student learning outcomes and make data-driven decisions to improve teaching and learning practices.
- Collaborate with teachers and other stakeholders to develop and implement professional learning and development programs.
We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $78,801 - $116,894, plus a $12,890 POL 4 allowance. We also offer a range of benefits, including:
