The Director of Junior Learning and Curriculum Implementation is a key leadership position at Marist-Sion College, responsible for overseeing the efficient leadership, organization, and management of student engagement and learning, as well as the overall curriculum for Years 7-9.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Curriculum Implementation Team to provide high-quality programs and resource services.
- Oversee the work of the Learning Leaders to ensure effective implementation of the curriculum.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve student learning outcomes and school improvement.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to promote a culture of professional learning and development.
- Work with the College leadership team to align curriculum and teaching practices with the College's strategic priorities.
- Registered teacher with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
- Proven experience in curriculum leadership and implementation.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with staff, students, and parents.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a focus on student learning and well-being.
