Accounts Operations Specialist

About the Role:
Our organization is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable and Receivable Professional to support financial operations by processing high-volume transactions efficiently.
The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day accounts payable and receivable activities, ensuring accurate and timely payment processes that enhance cash flow and minimize company exposure.
- Process and reconcile invoices, payments, and purchases within set timeframes
- Maintain vendor accounts with up-to-date information
- Prepare and process electronic funds transfer (EFT) payments for approval
- Undertake collections, reconciliations, and credit administration tasks
- Collaborate with supply operations and customer service teams to resolve payment issues
- Assist with month-end reporting and period closures
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Relevant qualifications or experience in accounts payable/receivable processing and reconciliations
- Sound understanding of financial principles and general ledger allocations
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume tasks efficiently
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a focus on meeting deadlines
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach
