Job Description

This is a mid-level network security operations team role with a focus on network automation. The position entails handling level 3 escalations, organising vulnerability and maintenance windows, and providing technical support to customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation, configuration and upgrade of hardware, systems and software for networks
  • Management of network and security performance by monitoring, troubleshooting, reporting and continuous improvement to optimise performance
  • Identify, analyse and manage risk at every aspect of work
  • Secures network system by establishing and enforcing policies, defining and monitoring access
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Coding skills: Python scripting/coding (intermediate) - primary importance
  • DevOps tools skills: BitBucket, Jenkins, JIRA, GitHub, Terraform, Vault
  • Network security: operational expertise in the networking domain, showcasing ability to tackle complex network challenges
  • Experience with F5 load balancer, GTM/LTM, Firewalls - Juniper SRX, Fortinet FortiGate, VMware (now Broadcom) NSX
  • Data management skills: data collection, schema binding, data manipulation and analytical skills
