Senior Network Automation Engineer

This is a pivotal role in our mid to large-scale network security operations team.

  • Installation, configuration and upgrade hardware, systems and software for networks.
  • Management of network and security performance by monitoring, troubleshooting, reporting and continuous improvement to optimise performance.
  • Identify, analyse and manage risk at every aspect of work.
  • Servicing network system by establishing and enforcing policies, defining and monitoring access.

The ideal candidate will have intermediate to professional knowledge in coding/scripting, with expertise in scripting for database queries and bolstering databases housing network telemetry and status information.

Key qualifications include:

  • Coding Skills: Python scripting/coding (Intermediate) - primary importance.
  • DevOps tools Skills: BitBucket, Jenkins, JIRA, GitHub, Terraform, Vault.
  • Network Security: Operational expertise in the networking domain, showcasing ability to tackle complex network challenges.
  • Experience with F5 load balancer, GTM/LTM, Firewalls - Juniper SRX, Fortinet FortiGate, VMware NSX.
  • Data Management Skills: Data Collection, Schema Binding, Data Manipulation and Analytical skills.
