Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Sourcing and Procurement Manager to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 3-5 years experience in procurement or purchasing
  • Engineering Steels industry experience
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain management and sourcing practices and processes
  • Excellent negotiation, influencing and analytical skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and Divisions
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines and adapt to changing market conditions
Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing and executing effective sourcing strategies to optimize inventory levels and support sales forecasting
  • Maintaining optimal relationships with international suppliers and negotiating pricing and payment terms
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations
  • Reporting on procurement performance, supplier metrics, and cost savings
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a related field such as Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or Engineering
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
