Medical Device Technician Position

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Medical Device Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilizing of reusable medical devices in accordance with national standards and hospital policies.

About the Role
  • Responsible for the safe handling and processing of medical devices.
  • Apply principles of sterilization, disinfection, and tracking in the CSSD environment.
  • Navigate the tracking system (Scancare) to support daily work requirements.
  • Work effectively as part of a team.
About You
  • Hold a Certificate 3 in Sterilization and a minimum of 2 years full-time experience in CSSD.
  • Be available to work a rotating roster, Monday to Sunday.
  • Be a positive team worker, who is flexible, has good organization and time management skills.
  • Have good computer skills to navigate the tracking system.
  • Enjoy learning and contributing to the team.
  • Take direction from senior staff.
Position Requirements
  • Certificate 3 in Sterilization.
  • Minimum of 2 years full-time CSSD experience.
  • Available to work a rotating roster, Monday to Sunday.
  • Flexible and able to work well in a team.
  • Good computer skills and ability to navigate the tracking system.
  • Able to learn and contribute to the team.
  • Able to take direction from senior staff.

The successful candidate will undergo a Police Record Check, Immunisation Status Clearance, and Working with Children Check (if applicable).
