Aeromedical Clinical Operations Leader

Job Description

Lead the clinical workforce within Aeromedical Operations, ensuring safe and evidence-based critical care for prehospital and inter-hospital medical retrieval responses.

Provide expert clinical advice to senior executives and contribute to the development of clinical policy objectives and care pathways.

Ensure the medical workforce meets operational demands, is clinically effective, safe, credentialed, and supported.

Work collaboratively with clinical staff to review patient outcomes and ensure quality and safety performance measures are achieved.

Develop and implement innovative work practices that drive the delivery of world-class aeromedical, retrieval, and emergency management services.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the clinical workforce within Aeromedical Operations.
  2. Provide expert clinical advice.
  3. Ensure the medical workforce meets operational demands.
  4. Work collaboratively with clinical staff.
  5. Develop and implement innovative work practices.
Ideal Candidate Criteria:
  • Accomplished medical leader with experience managing complex clinical operations in prehospital and retrieval medicine and critical care settings.
  • Medical qualifications registrable with AHPRA.
  • Additional qualifications in Intensive Care, Emergency Medicine, or Anaesthesia.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and engagement capabilities.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
