Job Title: Clinical Operations Director

The Clinical Operations Director plays a pivotal role in leading the clinic’s operational success, ensuring exceptional patient care and team collaboration.

  • Operational Excellence: Oversee daily clinic operations to guarantee seamless workflow and efficient service delivery.
  • Team Management: Supervise, mentor and support clinic staff, including receptionists and administrative personnel. Coordinate staff schedules and manage recruitment and training.
  • Patient Satisfaction: Ensure high patient satisfaction by managing patient enquiries, resolving complaints and improving service delivery processes.
  • Financial Performance: Handle billing, budgeting and financial reporting to ensure accurate payment processing and effective expense management.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure the clinic meets all regulatory requirements and maintains high standards of care and safety.
  • Clinic Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance of clinic facilities and equipment to provide a clean, safe and welcoming environment for patients and staff.
  • Marketing Strategy: Assist with marketing strategies to promote clinic services and engage in community outreach to build relationships and increase patient referrals.

Qualifications:

For Experienced Clinical Operations Directors:

  • Proven experience as Clinical Operations Director in a healthcare setting, preferably in orthopaedics or sports physiotherapy.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficient in medical billing and financial management.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.

For Receptionists Transitioning to Clinical Operations:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience as medical receptionist or in similar administrative role within a healthcare setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle administrative tasks with high accuracy and efficiency.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and patient-focused attitude.
  • Willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
