Urban Planner and Strategic Leader

Kingston is seeking a strategic leader to drive complex projects and contribute to the development of its urban environment.
This role plays a central part in shaping the city's long-term vision, including the Employment Land Use Strategy and activity centre planning for key precincts.
The successful candidate will be responsible for progressing strategic planning projects through to implementation, managing planning scheme amendments, and facilitating collaboration across departments.
A strong understanding of planning legislation, processes, and implementation pathways is essential, along with experience leading planning scheme amendments and interpreting evolving state policy.
The ideal candidate values collaboration, operates with integrity, and understands the broader impacts of planning work across an organisation.
