Electrical Project Manager Job Opportunity

Randstad Australia is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to manage the design and delivery of multiple small to medium, complex electrical capital works for State Government Client Side Projects.

The successful candidate will lead the end-to-end design and delivery of electrical projects in line with Main Roads specifications and client requirements. This includes developing and managing project documentation, reviewing designs for compliance, coordinating schedules and budgets, and building strong working relationships with contractors and stakeholders.

To be successful in this role, you will have a strong understanding of Occupational Safety and Health Policies, especially electrical safety, as well as a Current WA 'C' Class driver's licence (or approved equivalent).

You will also have a Diploma in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Electrical Trade Certificate or recognised equivalent qualification desirable.

  • Lead the end-to-end design and delivery of electrical projects in line with Main Roads specifications and client requirements.
  • Develop and manage project documentation including delivery plans, resource and financial plans, quality plans and inspection/test plans.
  • Review designs for compliance and provide technical advice on constructability.
  • Coordinate schedules, budgets and milestones to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with contractors, consultants, local government and other agencies.
