Electrical Project Engineer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join our dynamic team at a reputable engineering firm.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical project engineering and management, with experience working on major mining projects.

Key responsibilities include overseeing electrical packages on infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with scope and operational requirements, and developing project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to interface with clients and drive effective communication and collaboration across teams.

  • Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Supervise electrical discipline work and ensure it meets quality, cost, and time constraints.
  • Monitor progress and identify potential problems in respect of budgets, schedules, engineering standards.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:

  • A Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in electrical project engineering and management.
  • Demonstrated experience in working on engineering projects within the mining industry.
