Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team. As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will be working in a multi-disciplinary model with allied health professionals to understand customer needs and goals.

  • You will provide tailored support to meet these needs through assessment and individual planning.
  • Develop meaningful goals and practical strategies to support customers to meet their goals in their home and community.
  • Work collaboratively with allied health professionals to provide holistic and integrated approach to supports.

About You

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A commitment to delivering high-quality services that meet the needs of our customers.
  • Demonstrated skills and experience to deliver Specialist Behaviour Support under the NDIS.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in supporting individuals with complex behaviour support needs.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Allied Health, Disability or Social Sciences.
  • Explicit knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support principles including functional behaviour assessment, development of behaviour support plans, implementation processes.
