Skilled Heavy Vehicle Technician Wanted

Are you a skilled Mechanical Tradesperson looking for a new challenge? Do you have experience working on heavy vehicles and enjoy troubleshooting complex hydraulic/pneumatic machinery?
We are currently seeking a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our Maintenance and Delivery team in Yennora. As a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, you will be responsible for undertaking maintenance and repairs on a range of plant items, vehicles, and mechanical equipment.
The ideal candidate will have completed either a Heavy Vehicle Mechanical trade or a Plant Mechanical trade and possess good problem-solving skills and fault diagnosis skills. They will also be proactive in dealing with customer complaints and effective in their approach.

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:
• Undertaking maintenance and repairs on heavy vehicles and other mechanical equipment
• Troubleshooting complex hydraulic/pneumatic machinery
• Dealing with customer complaints and providing effective solutions
• Collaborating with colleagues to achieve project goals and outcomes
• Maintaining accurate records and reporting any safety hazards or concerns
The successful candidate will hold a current unrestricted NSW Motor Vehicle driver's licence and be willing to obtain a Medium Rigid or Heavy Rigid driver's licence if not already held. They will also have a willingness to undertake any legislated or internal licensing or ticketing requirements as directed by Transport for NSW.
