Job Overview

The Cafe Manager position is a leadership role that oversees daily operations of the café, ensuring high standards in customer service, team management, food and beverage quality, and overall store performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate a team of baristas, kitchen staff, and front-of-house staff to achieve operational excellence.
  • Maintain exceptional customer service and handle customer feedback effectively.
  • Manage staff rosters, training, and performance to optimize productivity.
  • Oversee ordering, stock control, and supplier relationships to ensure seamless operations.
  • Monitor daily sales, expenses, and financial reporting to drive business growth.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
  • Assist on the floor as needed, including making coffee and taking orders to provide excellent customer experience.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar management role, preferably in the food service industry.
  • Confident barista skills and strong knowledge of coffee preparation methods.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to motivate and guide the team.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks efficiently.
