Housekeeping Manager Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Manager to join our team at Accor. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and quality in our hotel rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Supervision: Lead and manage a team of housekeeping staff to ensure they are working efficiently and effectively to meet the needs of our guests.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of hotel rooms and public areas to ensure they meet our high standards of cleanliness and quality.
  • Staff Development: Provide training and coaching to housekeeping staff to improve their skills and knowledge.
  • Guest Satisfaction: Ensure that all guests receive a high level of service and that their needs are met promptly and efficiently.
  • Operational Efficiency: Manage the housekeeping department's budget and resources to ensure that we are operating efficiently and effectively.

Requirements:

  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years' experience in a housekeeping management role.
  • Qualifications: A high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Physical Demands: The ability to lift and carry heavy objects, and to work in a fast-paced environment.
