Key Responsibilities- Menu Development: Collaborate with our culinary team to design and implement seasonal menus that showcase our commitment to quality and consistency.
- Food Safety & Hygiene: Ensure that all food handling and storage procedures comply with Australian food safety protocols and regulations.
- Kitchen Management: Oversee daily kitchen operations, including staff management, food preparation, and service timing.
- Team Leadership: Train and supervise kitchen staff, providing clear direction and feedback to support their development.
- Stock Management: Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and minimize wastage by ensuring proper food storage and rotation.
- Minimum 3 years of chef experience, preferably in a similar environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, a knack for organization, and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Commitment to high standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety.
- A positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with both kitchen and bar staff.
- A competitive salary of AUD 72,000 - AUD 75,000 per year.
