Role Summary:

This key operational position is integral to ensuring the security and safety of residents, as well as effective incident management.

The Night Operations Specialist will work on a rotating roster, responsible for overseeing night shift operations from 11pm – 7am.

  • Conduct thorough audits to verify financial accuracy, including room charges, cash handling, and credit card transactions.
  • Manage nighttime operations, encompassing guest check-ins and check-outs, responding to inquiries and requests, and maintaining smooth operations during this period.
  • Verify account accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and prepare comprehensive reports for management.
  • Guarantee premises security and safety during the night, monitoring CCTV systems, and promptly addressing any security concerns or emergencies.
  • Support administrative tasks, such as updating reservations, processing payments, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Foster collaboration with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination between shifts.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to guests, addressing their needs, and resolving issues or complaints in a professional and timely manner.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a customer-facing/operations role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Outstanding organizational abilities, capable of managing competing priorities without compromising accuracy and customer service.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and database management systems.
  • Leadership and supervisory experience and skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, including conflict resolution.
