Night Shift Manager Job Description:

\

This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse during nighttime hours. As a Night Shift Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of over 50 staff members across various functions such as picking, packing, loading, and inventory management.

\

Key responsibilities include owning the shift, making confident decisions on the spot, building a strong team culture, driving operational excellence, and keeping it seamless through partnership with day shift managers. You will also be expected to think continuously about improvement opportunities and identify ways to optimize warehouse layout, workflow, and safety.

What We're Looking For:

  • \
  • A proven leader with experience in warehousing or distribution, preferably in FMCG environments.\
  • Someone who can work independently but always looks for ways to lift performance.\
  • Strength in people leadership, able to mentor, hold others accountable, and lead with fairness and empathy.\
  • Solid understanding of inventory, warehouse operations, and compliance (HACCP & OH&S).\
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.\
  • A steady presence and able to lead diverse personalities and inspire trust on shift.\
  • Experience with systems such as Manhattan WMS is a bonus.\
  • A valid forklift license is desired but not essential.\

Induction and Benefits:
