Business Development Manager

This is a key role in the growth of our company's new independent advisers' funds under administration through sales development.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining a forecasted sales pipeline, engaging with key advice businesses, and growing our active number of Independent Financial Advisers (IFA).

The ideal candidate will have 5 years' experience in the financial services industry, hold relevant certifications, and possess solution-based selling skills.

They will also have a strong understanding of sales frameworks, methodologies, and processes to support our Wealth Management focus areas.

The role requires a self-driven individual with a hunter mentality and a thirst for challenge.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining a forecasted sales pipeline
  • Engaging with key advice businesses
  • Growing our active number of Independent Financial Advisers (IFA)

The successful candidate will work closely with the team to ensure quality of approach, consistency of behaviour, and key messages to the market.

They will also be expected to adhere to all sales disciplines, including agreed activity management, timeliness of reporting responsibilities, initiative delivery, risk & compliance framework, and providing thought leadership and adopting an insight-led approach to position our solutions.
