Job Opportunity

Seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our maintenance team. This role involves conducting preventative maintenance tasks, inspections, corrective and breakdown maintenance on automated machines at our manufacturing facilities.


Responsibilities

The successful candidate will possess experience in:

  • Overhauling and maintaining automated filling machines and packaging machines
  • TIG stainless steel welding and Lathe and Milling machine work
  • Working with Microsoft software packages and Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
  • Applying GMP principles and understanding aseptic processes and techniques

Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

  • A Certificate 3 Mechanical Engineering trade or Indentured Certificate as a Fitter & Turner
  • Proven experience in the maintenance and operation of automated filling and packaging equipment
  • Expertise in fault diagnosis and corrective action
