Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Grain Quality Specialist to join our team at Bunge.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for sampling and analyzing grain quality, identifying defects, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend daily safety pre-start meetings and adhere to OH&S, HR, and Quality policies and procedures
  • Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
  • Complete Take 5, Job Hazard Analysis permit & confined space permits where applicable
  • Spear and sample incoming grains trucks in line with receival standards
  • Analyze grain quality and identify grain defects, including weed seeds
  • Enter delivery details and sample data into CSM application
  • Monitor Weighbridge data capture
  • Record keeping and filing
  • Liaise with growers/clients regarding quality issues
  • Maintain hygiene and cleanliness of lab and sampling areas
  • Prepare, label, and store audit samples
  • Sample and analyze according to GIWA/BUNGE standards
  • Develop knowledge of terminal procedures, processes, and policies

Requirements:

  • Degree-level qualifications or equivalent experience in a relevant field
  • Valid Western Australian C-class driver's license
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced computer skills, including email and spreadsheet use
  • Able to work independently and under pressure
