Job Description:

This role offers the opportunity to be part of a team that accelerates Victoria's renewable energy transition. We are working together for renewable, affordable, reliable energy for all Victorians.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain financial models using deep modelling knowledge for both CAPEX and OPEX.
  • Assist the wider Finance team in analysing and interpreting these models.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to gather essential data inputs and assumptions.
  • Prepare clear, high-quality financial outputs for presentation to senior management and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct variance analysis to measure the accuracy of projections against actual performance.
  • Stay across industry best practices and emerging trends in financial modelling.
Requirements:

We are looking for an individual with:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in financial modelling with a focus on CAPEX and OPEX.
  • Experience within the energy sector, preferably renewable energy.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including experience with complex formulas and functions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborative attitude with a willingness to work closely with cross-functional teams.
