Key Packaging Performance Manager Role

As a Key Packaging Performance Manager, you will lead the development and implementation of maintenance strategies and operational frameworks to drive performance improvement and technical capability across a team.

Key Responsibilities:

">
  • ">
  • Owning performance and reliability of assigned packaging machinery.">
  • Building and maintaining maintenance strategies, standards, and SOPs across equipment groups.">
  • Optimizing preventative and corrective maintenance plans; supporting long-term and shutdown planning.">
  • Collaborating with Maintenance and Production teams to identify and close skill gaps.">
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical breakdowns; leading root cause investigations (RCA, 5 Whys, PDCA).">
  • Supporting new product implementation and ensuring equipment schematics and changeover processes are up to date.">
  • Assisting in CAPEX projects and End-of-Life (EOL) strategy rollouts.">
  • Analyzing asset performance, spare part holdings, and backlog data to inform decision-making.">
  • Engaging with OEMs, vendors, and internal technical experts across BU and global teams.">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • ">
  • Leadership experience in packaging/FMCG environments.">
  • Deep understanding of maintenance frameworks and standards.">
  • Proven experience developing SOPs, work instructions, and autonomous maintenance routines.">
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.">
  • Solid communication skills and a coaching mindset.">
  • Familiarity with SAP and reliability-based maintenance systems beneficial.">
  • Comfort working with ambiguity and managing competing priorities.">
  • A trade qualification or tertiary qualification in Engineering.">
