Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead and oversee a team of skilled electricians and electrical technicians. The successful applicant will be responsible for undertaking electrical repairs, general maintenance, and preventative maintenance tasks, ensuring smooth daily operations through effective coordination with subcontractors.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of current Australian electrical regulations and legislation, along with valid Queensland electrical licenses and tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering or significant electrical trade experience. A proven track record of success in supervisory or management roles is essential, as well as a commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a team of electricians and electrical technicians
  • Undertake electrical repairs, general maintenance, and preventative maintenance
  • Coordinate subcontractors to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Assist in designing and managing electrical system installations
  • Ensure maintenance activities are completed safely and efficiently

Requirements

  • Valid Queensland electrical license
  • Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering and/or significant electrical trade experience
  • 3+ years' experience in a supervisory or management role
  • Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety standards
  • Strong understanding of current Australian electrical regulations and legislation
  • Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and technical drawings
