Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the position of Carer Support Coordinator. This role is focused on providing exceptional support services for carers accessing resources through the Carer Gateway in Queensland.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for facilitating intake, assessment, and planning processes for carers. Key responsibilities include delivering high-quality customer service, establishing action plans with carers, and creating an inclusive environment that supports their unique needs.

To succeed in this role, you will require strong communication skills, the ability to work effectively with carers over the phone, and a deep understanding of community services principles. Additionally, you will need to possess relevant qualifications and/or experience working in community services, allied health, or carer/family peer positions. Proficiency in IT systems is also essential.
