About the Role

This position is pivotal in shaping a bold design vision and strategy that drives impact for customers and the business. You'll partner with cross-functional leaders to champion customer needs and turn insights into experiences that inspire action.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop segment strategies – Collaborate with leadership teams to embed design and customer experience into the vision, strategy, and roadmap.
  • Utilize data and insights to inform priorities, align cross-functional teams, and continuously refine plans to achieve both customer and business outcomes.
  • Lead and inspire your team – Manage and mentor product designers in squads, setting clear direction, supporting career growth, and ensuring sustainable ways of working.
  • Enhance our design practice – Champion best-in-class design processes, tools, and rituals across the CX team, driving continuous improvement in how we collaborate, discover, and deliver.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 7+ years experience in experience design, with expertise in product and technology teams.
  • Proven service design skills and ability to apply systems thinking to enhance end-to-end customer journeys.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with customer empathy and cross-functional consensus building.
  • Proficient in Figma and emerging UX/UI tools.
  • Skilled in user research, including recruitment and qualitative methods, to rapidly test solutions.
  • Knowledge of UX strategies and trends for web and mobile platforms.
  • Experience in health, wellbeing, and/or aged care sectors, with deep understanding of diverse user needs.
  • Able to design from scratch or improve existing features using user-centred design principles.
  • Comfortable in collaborative environments with engineering, data, product, and UX teams.
