Product Manager Job Description

 

  • • Job Overview
  • In this role, you will be responsible for driving product development from conception to launch, working closely with senior team members and product leadership to provide input on the long-term vision of the product.
  • • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a product roadmap and align internal stakeholders to the developed roadmap strategy.
  • Perform customer discovery interviews with prospective and existing customers and partners to identify product gaps and generate new ideas for continuous value add.
  • Use various research methodologies and customer inputs to identify common patterns, pain points, problems to be solved/jobs to be done and use this to identify relevant solution opportunities/product efforts.
  • • Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (Design, Engineering, Marketing, Support and others) to build and execute the product development and go-to-market strategy for key roadmap deliverables.
  • Clearly communicate the Why for every product effort and educate other stakeholders on the problems to be solved, business objectives, etc.
Requirements:
  • • Experience:
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in product management and/or customer discovery or related field is required. Experience in a SaaS environment is an asset.
  • • Skills:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. Strong team player with the ability to engage with all levels of the organization.
  • Well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and relationship management skills.
  • • Knowledge:
  • Strong understanding of user engagement metrics and product KPIs to drive data-informed decision-making and enhance product performance is necessary. Strong organizational skills to be able to manage products through discovery to launch and continuous review.
