Robotic Surgery Specialist - Joint Replacement Team

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Joint Replacement team as a Robotic Surgery Specialist. This is a unique opportunity to become a key clinical partner in advancing orthopaedic surgery through the application of cutting-edge robotic technology.

About the Role
  • This full-time, permanent position based in Mackay offers a relocation package for someone willing to relocate. The successful candidate must have full working rights in Australia or New Zealand.

The role requires a high level of clinical knowledge, technical acumen, and the ability to thrive in the fast-paced environment of the operating theatre.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Serve as the in-theatre expert for Mako-assisted procedures, providing technical and clinical guidance to surgeons and theatre staff.
  2. Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal use of the Mako robotic platform during joint replacement surgeries.
  3. Conduct pre-operative CT-based planning and segmentation to assist in surgical case preparation.
  4. Maintain a high level of knowledge in orthopaedic surgical techniques, anatomy, and robotic technology.
  5. Provide ongoing training and clinical support to hospital staff and surgical teams.
  6. Travel across Sydney and surrounding areas to support multiple hospital sites.
