Job Title: System Installation and Integration Specialist

A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced Installation and Deployment Technician to work with us in Rydalmere. The technician installs various equipment and systems at customer sites and prepares them for commissioning and on-site acceptance testing.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Comply with all relevant Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental policies and practices.
  • Attend regular meetings with managers to build continuous feedback mechanisms.
  • Support the definition and execution of system integration and test programs.
  • Prepare installation, integration, and test documentation.
  • Support the execution of installation and set-to-work activities for assigned projects.
  • System testing and fault identification.
  • Support the execution of engineering test programs for assigned projects.
  • Configuration maintenance.
  • Assist with task/project quotations and support management in meeting schedules.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • AQF Certificate/Diploma in Electronic & Communications Systems (mandatory).
  • Certificate 4 in Man Management or equivalent experience.
  • Written and verbal communications skills.
  • Domain knowledge of Defence projects (desirable).

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience with relevant communications and COMSEC equipment.
  • Experience with MS Office product range.
  • Understanding of configuration management processes and procedures.
  • Working in small highly motivated teams.
  • Multi-tasking experience.
